OUR STAFF

	Phyllis D'Angelo, RN, is the Director of Patient Care Services for Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester. Prior to working with us, she was the Director of Operations for Comprehensive Home Care. Phyllis has 30 years of clinical experience in both the hospital and home care settins. She was on the Board of the local American Cancer Society for 5 years and was honored through that organization for her outstanding contribution to the field of nursing. Phyllis is a graduate of Mount Vernon School of Nursing.       Patricia Gill, RN of New Rochelle, is the Asst. Director of Patient Care Services for Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester. Pat most recently was a staff nurse with Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester since 1996. Previous to that she worked at Calvary Hospital from 1991 as a staff nurse in both the hospital and in the home care department. She also has worked at Albert Einstein Hospital and Providence Rest Nursing Home. She has 27 years of nursing experience. Pat has her AAS in nursing from Bronx Community College and has attended the College of Mt. Saint Vincent. Ext #13
	Janice Sauer, CSW-R, CT, of Garrison, NY is the Manager of Counseling Services for Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester. Mrs. Sauer joined us in 1994 as a clinical social worker. She graduated from Herbert H. Lehman College where she received a B.A. Mrs. Sauer received a masters in social work from the Fordham University School of Social Work. She is certified by New York State in social work, school social work and humanistic/transpersonal psychotherapy. Ext #30        Linda Plastrik, CSW-R Bereavement Coordinator for Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester Ms. Plastrik received her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University, and was certified by the New York State in 1990. A member of the Academy of Social Workers, Ms. Plastrik completed her certificate program for Advanced Clinical Social Work at Hunter College. She has worked in various Mental Health settings for the past 19 years — she has been a discharge planner and social worker at St. Joseph's Medical Center; a social worker at Stony Lodge Hospital; and most recently a socialworker and psychotherapist at the Phelps Memorial Hospital. Ext #18     Mary Wasacz, RN, MS, CS, Spiritual Care Coordinator for Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester, is certified in Adult Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing by the American Nurses Association. She is a family therapist, having studied at the Center for Family Learning. Presently she is enrolled at Calvary Hospital to become a lay minister. Her approach is eccumenical, helping all human beings regardless of their belief system. Mary has worked with hospice for 15 years. Ext. #29 Holly K. Benedict, of Ossining, NY, is our Director of Public Affairs and Development for Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester. Benedict has more than 25 years of marketing and development experience, most recently as president of her own consulting firm, and formerly as Regional Director of Communications and Development for Lighthouse International. Ms. Benedict also teaches at Marymount College. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and English from West Chester University.     Ursula Serini Our new Office and Human Resource Manager works for MedTech Professional Billing. Formerly, she was with the Barrett Capital Corporation. She has held Administrative Assistant and Executive Secretary positions. Her BA degree major was in Psychology, with a minor in Criminal Justice. Ext #14
	Our Staff and Volunteers at Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester December 2003   Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester Volunteers have received the Volunteer of the Year Award in 1992, 1994 and 1998, and were the Grand Winners of Volunteer of the Year in 1995.
