Hospice of Westchester

Participation in a support group has been shown to be one of the best ways to help those who are grieving the death of a loved one. People who have experienced similar losses are brought together in an environment of safety, care, and compassion. Mutual learning can take place regarding how to manage the grief process in a healthy way. Participants are given the permission to grieve that may not otherwise be available to them. Grieving is respected as part of a normal and natural response to the death of a loved one.

All of our support groups are facilitated by experience professionals with expertise in grief counseling.

Evening Adult Loss of Parent	Mondays: 6:30-8pm (beginning Oct/Nov)
Daytime Loss of Spouse/Life Partner	Wednesdays: 11am-12:30pm (beginning Fall 2011)
Evening Loss of Spouse/Life Partner	Tuesdays: 6-7:30pm (beginning Fall 2011)
Evening Men's Bereavement and/or General Bereavement Support Group	Thursdays: 6:30-8pm (beginning Winter 2011)
